By using this product, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions:

"Customer", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person participating and accepting these Terms and Conditions.

"PowerNow service" refers to a solution that provides the user with convenient channels streamlined to their habits to purchase and borrow power units.

"PowerNow vending service" refers to a solution that provides the user with convenient channels streamlined to their habits to purchase power units.

"PowerNow borrow me power" refers to a solution that provides the user with convenient channels streamlined to their habits to borrow power units.

Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization is taken as interchangeable and therefore referring to same. And any reference to natural persons include legal persons and vice-versa and references to any gender includes reference to the other gender and vice-versa.

The following terms and conditions refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration necessary for the Customer to participate in the use of the PowerNow service:

1. The Powernow service will be available to all eligible to Prepaid and Post-paid Customers.


2. The Powernow service can be accessed via the following channels:
• a. Mobile channels using the 946 short-code
• i. Interactive SMS
• ii. USSD
• b. Web portal via the www.powernow.com.ng
• c. Mobile application which can be downloaded via the web portal www.powernow.com.ng
• d. Scratch cards
• e. Mobile money
• f. POS Terminals
• g. ATM


3. Eligibility criteria for the Powernow vending serviceinclude:
• a. User must have a functional Prepaid or Postpaid meter that can read power consumption accurately.

5. The content of the pages of the powernow website and other channels is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.


6. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website or any of our channels for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.


7. You may not create a link to the PowerNow website from another website or document without Greystone’s prior written consent.


8. In Your use of the website or any channel, any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of Nigeria.


9. Unauthorised use of the PowerNow website and other channels, may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.


10. All trademarks reproduced in the PowerNow website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator is acknowledged on the website.


11. Any new features introduced from time to time to augment or enhance the Service shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. This Agreement is governed by the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All disputes shall be resolved in line with Greystone Partners Limited’s Consumer Code of Practice.


12. For all of the Services provided by PowerNow under this Agreement, the Customer shall compensate PowerNow, with commissions or other payments as required, in accordance with the terms of the 'Commission Structure', which will be communicated to Customers; or agreed in advance between both parties. PowerNow will from time to time review the category commission structure and will notify the Customer of any changes on the Quick Power’s website.


13. PowerNow will use reasonable diligence in rendering the Services offered to the Customers, which include the following:
    • a. some of the new services may attract separate charges, in which case the customer may or may not be informed before provision of the said services.
    • b. Powernow reserves the right to alter or vary the available Services, the nature of the Services and any charges at its sole discretion.


14. A Customer must make payment on her/his account via any of the available physical, logical or virtual payment channels to payback the power units borrowed. The amount borrowed is first deducted from the amount paid in and the balance, if any, will then be loaded in the Customer's main account, via the tokens sent to the customer.


15. In cases where the paid amount is less than the outstanding power units borrowed, subsequent payments will be used to recover whatever is outstanding until the loan is fully recovered.


16. There's no limitation on the number of times a Customer can borrow power units, if s/he has no outstanding payment, meets all other eligibility criteria and is within his/her credit limit.


17. When a Customer exhausts her/his borrowed power unit, the Customer will not have access to power until the borrowed power unit advanced to her/him is paid back in full by making payments into her/his account.
